ONDA Wave is making our best efforts for the real-time synchronization and compliance with OTA interlocking protocol.
However, it is impossible to prevent overbooking 100%.
This is because there are variables that cannot be expected, such as Internet delays, server environment changes, and user malfunctions.
Therefore, we ask our partners to be aware of handling overbooking measures.
Please follow the steps below to ask the Wave Service Support Team to identify the cause and take action.
- Prepare screen capture for proof
In case of overbooking, please prepare the screen below. (File extension = gif, jpg, pdf, bmp, png)
① Details of the reservation
-Channel reservation number
-When reservation is created, check-in / check-out date
- Channel roomtype / rateplan
② Wave timeline of the reservation date
-Wave reservation number
-Wave roomtype / rate plan - Contact Wave Service Support Team
-Email or call Wave Service Support Team
-Reply within 1 business day - Actions for customers for overbooking.
-Room upgrade
-Providing alternative property nearby
-Request cancellation of reservation - Check response of Wave Service Support Team
-We will respond to the cause, follow-up measures, and prevention of recurrence identified on the issue.
⚠️ Channel manager does not prevent overbooking 100%.
Even though overbooking is inevitable,
ONDA will try to help partners as much as possible.
Please note that there is no compensation for overbooking.
