4. Precautions for use | Airbnb

Please be sure to check the following before integrating with the Airbnb channel manager.

 ⚠️ One Airbnb account can be connected to only one Wave property. 
    If you want to connect multiple Wave properties, 
    you must have multiple Airbnb accounts. 
 

 ⚠️ Before integration, please access the Airbnb page and sign out first. 

1. Before initial integration, Airbnb will inspect the listings .
   Therefore, it may take time to get connected.
   
   
2. Only listings that are currently listed can be connected.
   

    ⚠️ Only listings that are 'listed' can be connected.
       Co-host or team listings cannot be connected. 

3. When connecting to Airbnb channel manager, the service fee must be paid by the host .
   * Changed from ' Shared host and guest fee' to ' Host-only fee' according to Airbnb policy

4. Airbnb listing page-> Only some functions in the 'Pricing' and 'Availability' menu of Airbnb can be modified.
   If you want to change the setting value except the following functions, you have to modify it before connecting the channel manager, and the final input value before connecting channel manager will be maintained unless you don't change on Wave.
   -Pricing : Guests included / Extra guests fee / Cleaning fee / Length-of-stay discounts (weekly, monthly)
   -Availability : Minimum stay, Advance notice
   
   
5. Synchronize Wave's inventory to Airbnb.
   

    ⚠️ If you have dates / roomtypes that you do not want to sell, 
       create reservations to make your inventory '0' on Wave.

6. Before initial connection , price / inventory synchronization may take up to 30 minutes.  

7. Don't click / change 'Sync Settings' on Airbnb
   

    ⚠️ Never change Airbnb > Sync Category > 'Sync All' 
       Existing content will be deleted and overwritten with the contents of Wave. 
       To avoid this, please do not change the 'Sync Settings'. 

8. Due to Airbnb's policy, listings that property type set as 'House' cannot be supported Multi-availability function.
   Additionally, if a roomtype on Wave has more than two avails, price and availability will not be updated. So that, please set property type other than 'House' on Airbnb page.
   

9. Room information must match.
   Ex) Wave maximum occupancy = Airbnb listing maximum occupancy
   
   
10. Due to Airbnb policy, room prices below 10USD will not be updated.
    
    
11. Wave's currency and Airbnb listing's currency must match.
    (Wave : KRW / Airbnb : USD : price update will fail)
    
    
12. Airbnb does not support deleting listing.
    If you want to delete it, please disconnect it from Wave and delete it from the Airbnb page.
